Huawei Watch GT 2 Sport and Classic
The Huawei Watch GT made its debut last October along with the Mate 20 series, and it seems that this year the Chinese company is preparing a follow-up that will probably be released on September 19 at the Mate 30 event, that is, if not See the light of day in a separate IFA presentation this week.

Ladies and gentlemen, get to know the Huawei Watch GT 2, seen here in all its splendor in the leaked official press renders. The GT 2 does not try to reinvent the wheel, but it brings some solid improvements, although minor, compared to its predecessor.

Huawei Watch GT 2 Classic

It has a slightly larger screen and smaller bezels, and is generally thinner and more compact. It also has a larger battery, at 445 mAh (compared to 420 mAh). The Watch GT 2 will also use a microphone and a speaker, which means that you can make calls directly on it, and that makes us wonder if it has a version with some type of cellular connectivity.

Huawei Watch GT 2 Sport

The GPS is still built in, just like the optical heart rate monitor, and as you can see in the images, you can choose between two styles. The Huawei Watch GT 2 Sport is the completely black model with a sports rubber band, while the Watch GT 2 Classic is black / silver with the brown leather strap. The power of both is Huawei's patented portable platform, there is no trace of Wear OS by Google here.

Sleep tracking can be officially supported on S5, especially now that Apple has purchased Beddit, a sleep monitor product and a companion application. Android 10

A report today suggests that the next Google operating system update for smartphones called Android 10, or Android Q, will be released in the first week of September. This schedule fits the list of phones that have already been at stake for the Android Beta program for software that has just reached its final Beta earlier this month. All Google Pixel phones are on the list, that's almost a fact, but what other devices will get Android 10 immediately?

If you have been using the latest Android Beta software for Android Q, recently renamed Android 10, you will likely see a final update of Android 10 in September. This applies to Google Pixel, Pixel 2 and 3, Pixel XL, Pixel 2 XL and 3 XL, and Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL. These are just the phones made by Google that will receive the update directly from Google.

The ASUS ZenFone 5Z was part of the beta program and, therefore, you will surely get the final update of Android 10. This also applies to the Essential Phone PH-1, Huawei Mate 20 Pro, LG G8 ThinQ, Nokia 8.1, OnePlus 6T, OPPO Reno, Realme 3 Pro, Sony XPERIA XZ3, Techno Spark 3 Pro, Vivo X27, Nex S, Nex A, Xiaomi Mi 9 and Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G.

This Beta program started in March 2019 with Beta 1, then switched to Beta 2 in April, Beta 3 in May and Beta 4 in June. Users found Beta 5 launched in July, then paused and then continued shortly after a brief setback. The last beta update prior to launch was Beta 6, and had many gesture settings.

Disney +

Disney + will handle the video streaming market with power and some great deals. This service will be launched on November 12, and it will also allow customers to watch their favorite programs on four screens simultaneously, and 4K is included for free.

Beware Netflix, competition is getting stronger. Disney + will be coming soon with a base price of $ 6.99, which includes support for four simultaneous and 4K streams. This is bad news for Netflix, because they just raised the price of their service, and their standard package costs $ 9. Let's remember that if you want HD on Netflix, it costs $ 13, and if you want 4K the price goes up to $ 16. Yes, Netflix has a bigger gallery, but Disney has all the classics, the Marvel universe and that will also give you ESPN and Hulu in a bundle with Disney + for $ 12.99.

Youtube

Some important changes will happen on YouTube, and they were announced earlier this week. These changes in their policy will be applied to videos aimed at a young audience, and that may be a good decision.

YouTube playback speed

YouTube will start deleting videos from their platform if they have mature or violent content, but only if they target children as an audience. This means that if the video includes children in their title, description or tags and it contains mature themes, it will be deleted. The first step towards this plan began with the imposition of age restrictions on videos of this type. This alone will not stop children from watching them, but it also means that parents should also start paying more attention to what their children are watching on their phones or tablets. YouTube has also created YouTube Kids, a safer way to let kids watch their favorite videos without exposing them to adult content.

USA And China Trade War

Just in case you think that the problem between Huawei and the US is difficult, it seems that now American companies will be even worse. President Trump has now ordered all US companies to start looking for alternatives to China, and this order has sent Apple's stock prices down.

Donald Trump

Maybe Twitter isn't the best place to make an official announcement, but President Trump likes to tweet about many sensitive topics lately. This Friday, President Trump made several tweets that focused on economic relations between the US and China. He even ordered all US companies to start looking for alternatives outside of China. This means that many companies which have production plants in the country, must start looking to move their operations elsewhere. Apple has already begun to do this, but this last tweet also affected Apple, Qualcomm and Nvidia, because their stock had started to fall.

This Tweet was posted after China said it would collect tariffs on US goods, and soon after that, Apple shares fell 4.6%. This trade war will ultimately affect consumers, and is unlikely to end anytime soon.

Windows Application

Samsung's DeX always seemed like a waste of resources, since very few of us need a computer replacement operating system. We all have Windows, Mac or Chrome OS machines, so the idea of needing a configuration and a base for a mobile OS to convert to a desktop OS was unnecessary. But now, with DeX capable of running on Windows or Mac as an application, it makes a lot more sense.

Today, those Windows and Mac applications are live for Samsung DeX, so you can try it right now. All you need is a Windows or Mac computer and a USB cable that connects your Samsung phone (such as the Galaxy Note 10).

With the application installed and the phone connected, DeX opens in its own window, just like any other application. But from within, you can run all the applications on your phone, use your favorite browser, check and send emails, messages or text messages, and make use of the applications that you normally don't have available on your desktop computer.

Perhaps most importantly, it is not a completely separate configuration as it used to be. Now, with DeX running as an application on your computer, your keyboard and mouse simply work and there is nothing to disconnect or change. After the download, I made DeX open and then closed again in a matter of minutes.

Arlo Ultra 4k

When we reviewed the Arlo Ultra, we were impressed by its video quality and battery life, but found the price to be very steep. Fortunately, the product is now on sale, down to $546 ($54 off) for two packs, or $756 ($44) for three cameras. The cameras offer 4 K imagery with HDR support. They're also fully cordless, and their battery can last up to two months at a single charge, which is quite impressive. They come with advanced security features such as night vision, dual-way audio, motion sensing, and even a built-in siren. Finally, thanks to the one-year Arlo Smart Premier service included, you'll be able to save up to 30 days of cloud footage.

Alro Review

Depending on how many cameras you need, both two- and three-pack bundles are on sale. Of course, the mandatory base station that connects to your router and centralizes the connection with the cameras comes in the box. Additional bundles with a single or four cameras also exist, but they're unfortunately not on sale. However, if you need to add an additional unit to your setup, the add-on is also marked down to $257, which is $43 less than its usual price. The three-pack and extra camera are slightly more expensive on Best Buy, so I'd recommend you buy them on Amazon if you want to pay less.

Last year at E3, Phil Spencer at the end of the Microsoft keynote, said that the company was working on a new console for the next generation of gaming. On E3 in 2019, discussions on Phil's stage point to one device and now the way forward is a little clearer.

In an interview with Business Insider, Phil stated that the company focused on one console even though last year he said the console. He joked that technically Microsoft had indeed launched a new console last year and Scarlett made two, but whoever watched the program and the following interview knew that he was referring to some of the next generation consoles.

Furthermore, evidence and insiders at the company admit that there are two devices on the roadmap for the Xbox; Lockhart and Anaconda. Although the company has released a new console and has other plans, I strongly believe that at E3 2018, Phil referred to the next two consoles on the stage.

All this said, Microsoft's current plan for the next generation of Xbox is to focus on Scarlett and all mention of Lockhart, which was previously documented in several places, has now been scrubbed clean. The big question is what drives change in strategy?

Speaking with various people inside and outside Microsoft, here are my best conclusions as to why the device was removed from the road map.

First, developers have a harder time than expected to make the next generation of games that span two systems with various specifications. As you would expect, developers are more focused on creating games that will run well on lower-class devices first and then increase them to higher Anaconda.

Remember, it's easier to increase it than to reduce it. Therefore, the latest generation of Xbox games will be in visual performance and loss which is not what Microsoft wants to see when it starts dealing directly with the next generation PlayStation.

I'm not the only one who heard this, Digital Foundry, talking to people at E3, have heard this too.

But that might not be the only reason. The purpose of Lockhart is to make it easier to join the Xbox family with consoles whose prices are much lower than the larger brothers, Anaconda. With the progress made on xCloud and its ability to deliver high-latency and low-quality gaming to any device, Lockhart began to become more constraints for Microsoft.

Although Microsoft currently has many consoles available with One S, X, and All-Digital-Edition, downsizing the next generation will make it easier for companies to focus on one device. And considering lower margins on hardware and Microsoft really only wants to sell games, whatever the platform, selling one flagship and pushing xCloud for another makes sense.
