Devolver Game
One of the founders Devolver Digital, a boutique publisher behind games such as Hotline Miami and Genital Jousting, eager to see Sony and Microsoft unveiled their next-generation platform.

However, Graeme Struthers who has been with the company since he founded it in 2009, said he was excited about the launch of the PlayStation and Xbox Project 5 Scarlett in 2020 in part because the systems are expected to appeal to all small and large developers.

However, Struthers indicate that the PS3 / Xbox 360 generation was not the most inviting for indie developers.

New King Thor Outfit
With the New York Comic Con starting today, there are lots of news on Marvel’s Avengers. Meanwhile, Marvel itself delivered with a new trailer.

The trailer is a look at one of the alternate outfits wore in the game. Specifically, which was for Thor, and it’s a King Thor armor as inspired by issue 50 of the 1988 series which was dedicated to the Asgardian hero, which was released in early 2011.

According to the starts, Marvel’s Avengers releases for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia in mid next year. To be specific, May 15, 2020.

The game is full of an action-adventures title published by Square Enix and was developed by Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montréal with the help of Crystal Northwest and Nixxes Software.

It can be played both offline as a single-player or online in co-op with up to four players taking on the roles of favorite heroes among the Avengers.

Brain Age Has Announced The Launch Of Nintendo Switch In Japan Along With Stylus
Nintendo’s announced the New Brain Training games which according to the video released is the Nintendo Switch version called Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training games.

It can be recalled that Nintendo has produced similar games like puzzles, equations, and even sudoku in a bid to “train” their brain.


According to the videos released, one of the game is the official trailer, that is now available to view directly below, and shows off not only some new exercises heading to the game but also a stylus. The other one is of the exercises showcased features the IR sensor that can be seen on the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con’s that is being used to capture your hand. A feature that wouldn’t work on the newly launched Nintendo Switch Lite as there is no IR functionality available.

Also we cam see in the second video published by Nintendo, we get a more in-depth look at the exercises available. We see the IR-sensor focused one in action, another one that allows two players to go head-to-head and count objects, and there are some examples of how the stylus can be used. We see a memory game where players will have to select the previous picture, then remember the new picture as more pictures come into play. As usual, the game offers you a graph showing your brain’s “age” and performance when you’ve finished your training.

New Brain Training will be launch on Nintendo Switch in Japan on December 27, 2019 with a physical and digital release.

Mortal Kombat 11
Mortal Kombat 11 has been launched earlier this year and continues to receive new content. The latest addition fans have to expect is a new co-op mode, Team Raids. This challenge will put a team of three players against boss characters, encouraging teamwork in a way not usually considered for 2D fighting titles.

However, Team Raids are expected to launch in a future update, but release date details are not yet publicly known for now.

NetherRealm Studios shared the news with fans during yesterday’s Kombat Kast stream. YouTuber Dynasty isolated the section of the Kombat Kast where talk of the Team Raids mode starts. Check out the video embedded below:


Mortal Kombat 11’s new co-op mode will see teams of three battle a boss character on “separate fight lines.” While the raids occur in real-time, players will only be able to see the health bars of their compatriots. Therefore, each player’s screen will look as though only they are battling the boss, while the UI indicates otherwise.

To gain better chances of winning, the team will have a number of challenges to beat, each offering modifiers upon completion. One modifier may give the whole team a health boost; another will offer damage increases per attack.

In order to complete challenges, all of which are timed, everyone has to participate in them. Hence, you can see a Team Raid in action in the video above at the 1:40 mark.

Mortal Kombat 11 is already out on the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox One platforms. Expect even more content from the title in the coming months, as DLC characters continue to roll out.

Up next on the DLC roster is Terminator T-800, set to launch on October 8th. Sindel will arrive later in the year on November 26th. Both the Joker and Spawn are slated to arrive early in 2020.

More on Reddit, Infinity Ward has shared a list of some of the comments being sought today, and commented on popular topics of discussion. An overview is as follows:

Borderlands 3

Following the launch of Borderlands 3 this weekend, players on all platforms have reported a number of technical problems ranging from separate screen breaks to stuttering in PlayStation 4 Pro performance mode. Players have flocked to the game subreddit, the official 2K forum, and social media to report on various problems and while Gearbox has not officially responded to everything, the developer has at least acknowledged the screen-apart problem.

Slowness occurs when one of the players using a separate screen tries to open a menu to change their skills or equipment. The 2K representative told IGN that the Gearbox was working on optimization and improvement but did not say when the patch was expected to come out. The full statement reads:

We are aware that in some cases during split-screen couch co-op play, players can experience lag while in heavy combat and one of the players goes into their ECHOdevice and tries to navigate the skill trees and menus. While we will continue to work to optimize the Borderlands 3 experience, we’d advise split-screen players to prep for combat ahead of big encounters, and not leave a teammate to fight solo mid firefight!

Speaking of separate screens, players have asked Gearbox to patch vertical screens because horizontal screens make it difficult for them to read text, and even make some people dizzy. There is no official word from the developer on this issue but ComicBook claims to have contacted 2K and was told by representatives that "there are no plans to add a vertical split screen at this time."

Three veterans of the video game industry and the entertainment industry are involved in a vague back and forth on Twitter and now we are all waiting anxiously for an announcement, which, according to Miereanu, will come "immediately."



Although a specific game wasn’t mentioned, and Smith jokingly said he wasn’t working on anything video game related, Miereanu quotes that they’ll “let the cat out of the bag reasonably soon.”


When Smith first came to Twitter with an initial teaser, it could be anything. The voice actor has played Sonic the Hedgehog, Chris Redfield from Resident Evil, Ezio from Assassin's Creed, Batman from Batman: Arkham Origins, and dozens of other famous characters from popular video games, films, and TV series and anime. But with Galletta, who worked with Smith on Batman: Arkham Origins, was confirmed to be involved, the collection of options was narrowed down to video games, because Smith's previous credit was all video games. Finally, Miereanu's involvement confirmed that this project was being published by Warner Bros.

The Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons is already considered one of the most innovative aspects of a hybrid console, but a patent filed reveals that a new design for a removable controller might be in progress.

A new patent by Nintendo, found in Japan's official patent database, revealed that the company was trying to add a hinge to the top of Joy-Cons.

From the illustrations found in the patent, the new design will allow the player to fold a portion of Joy-Con's left thumb and right Joy-Con's action button. The controller will also be able to use the hinge even if it is attached to the Nintendo Switch, because the connector will be placed in a part that is not folded.

The possible reason for the hinges is to give Joy-Cons a more ergonomic design, which will make the controller more comfortable during longer play sessions.

Some things remain unclear, including whether the hinged Joy-Cons will replace the current Joy-Cons in the upcoming bundle, or whether they will be a separate purchase.

Finally, because new designs are found in patents, there is a definite possibility that the hinged Joy-Cons will never move from the concept stage to the actual product. However, it is interesting that Nintendo is still working on the design of the Nintendo Switch controller, two and a half years after the launch of the console.
Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons has seen fair controversies, including connectivity problems that were corrected by the addition of conductive foam, and drift problems that have been agreed to be repaired free by Nintendo. According to reports by Codemasters developers it seem that they have confirmed that the design of the newly leaked PS5 development kit is real. Sony's last console, Playstation 4, has shipped more than 100 million units since its original launch in 2014 (more than double the 41 million Xbox Ones that Microsoft's competitors have sold), and the company now seems ready to move forward to the next hardware generation.

Earlier this week, a Brazilian patent filed by Sony made many people assume that the Playstation 5 dev kit was under development. Not to mention, Crytek's recent comments about SSD (solid-state drives) as an integral part of the next generation of consoles have made many people wonder how much information the AAA developers currently have on consoles that hasn't been released to the public. It makes sense that a number of video game companies must have worked on the title for the new system, otherwise there would not be a ready release day when the next generation of consoles was announced.

According to a report by LetsGoDigital, this newly leaked patent is a real design for Sony's new PS5 development kit, confirmed by Matthew Stott, a senior artist at Codemasters. In a tweet, Stott stated that the images that were circulating did indeed show the Playstation dev kit and that they "had several in the office," even though certain numbers were not mentioned. Since then, both Matthew Stott's tweets and Twitter accounts have been deleted. LetsGoDigital also makes some 3D rendering of what looks like a dev kit, which is illustrated below.

While the design of this dev kit patent might seem strange to some people, it's important to remember that development kits rarely look the same as the final console version that ends up on a store shelf. Although the official wording on the hardware patent list is "unknown device," Stott's comments and their rapid removal from the internet seem to indicate that it is indeed related to the ongoing development of Playstation 5, which according to Sony is being made with gamers " hard-core "in mind and can be available as soon as 2020.

After tricking fans with faint teasers, Overwatch finally revealed the next game hero. Meet Sigma, the 31st hero Overwatch, who has some incredible gravity warping powers. Sigma created its debut with a trailer of short stories that offered some info about his past as an astrophysicist and finally went down into an evil state. Overwatch describes sigma as "an eccentric astrophysicist who hopes to unlock the secrets of the universe, not realizing that he has turned into a living weapon", which makes new heroes and motivations more interesting.

In the trailer of the Overwatch animation, Sigma is shown as a scientist who has dedicated his life playing with numbers and equations to find out more about gravity and finally utilizing the capabilities of black holes. but just before he felt sweet success, something went awry (sounds familiar?) along with the whole experiment of gravity black holes and he went down to a psychotic state, claiming that the universe was talking to him.



Poor people of science are then shown living what people call multiple personality conflicts and eventually walking on the dark road turns into a criminal. As Sigma, Overwatch's newest hero is seen wearing an important suit (like Lex Luthor's comic in DC) and playing with the surrounding gravitational field.

As for its strength, Sigma claims to have "harness harness", which shows it has acquired a cool ability to regulate gravity, something that might be seen acting at the top of the trailer especially.
