USA And China Trade War

Just in case you think that the problem between Huawei and the US is difficult, it seems that now American companies will be even worse. President Trump has now ordered all US companies to start looking for alternatives to China, and this order has sent Apple's stock prices down.

Donald Trump

Maybe Twitter isn't the best place to make an official announcement, but President Trump likes to tweet about many sensitive topics lately. This Friday, President Trump made several tweets that focused on economic relations between the US and China. He even ordered all US companies to start looking for alternatives outside of China. This means that many companies which have production plants in the country, must start looking to move their operations elsewhere. Apple has already begun to do this, but this last tweet also affected Apple, Qualcomm and Nvidia, because their stock had started to fall.

This Tweet was posted after China said it would collect tariffs on US goods, and soon after that, Apple shares fell 4.6%. This trade war will ultimately affect consumers, and is unlikely to end anytime soon.

Samsung is on its way to announce the flagship Galaxy Note 10 in the second half of August, but seems to have difficulty due to the impact of prolonged trade between South Korea and Japan.

For this reason, Samsung Electronics, the Korean technology giant, reduced chip production for the next Galaxy Note 10 flagship smartphone.

According to reports from The Investors, Note 10's production has been reduced by around 10%, but Samsung hopes production will increase again next month to reach the desired level.

Meanwhile, Samsung declined to confirm this report, but market observers claimed that the latest trade feud might have forced the tech giant to adjust manufacturing time because of fear of running out of chemical products currently being limited by the Japanese government - fluorinated polyimide, hydrogen fluoride and resistance, which considered important for the chip and display manufacturing process.
The Galaxy Note 10 smartphone is scheduled to be launched on August 7 at Samsung's annual unpacked event in New York, and is expected to be launched in stores starting August 23 in the US and Korea.

While it is reported that Samsung will release the Note 10 in two versions, the version is supported by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processors which are limited to state markets including the US and also version 10 of Exynos based on Note 10 which will be available in major markets throughout the world, including Europe.

Microsoft And Sonny Console

A new report claims that Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo plan to reduce console production in China. This came a week after the three of them followed other technology companies in expressing their concern over US President Donald Trump's trade dispute with the country.

Based on reports from the Nikkei Asian Review (through Games Industry), console manufacturers have joined Amazon, Dell, HP and Google in increasing Chinese production.

"The industry consensus is to move an average of around 30 percent of production from China depending on how important the US market is," a supply chain analyst told the Nikkei. "Everyone needs to make a plan. Apple is really the last and the slowest to start formulating a plan, while everyone out there is far more aggressive. "

Meanwhile, an official from Chongqing city, a hotspot for laptop production, said that the uncertainty caused by the trade war had helped reduce orders.

Darson Chiu, an economist at the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research, also said that while products might become more expensive in the US, the Chinese economy would have to prepare for a big impact because companies that move production would hamper economic growth and result in job losses. Thus increasing the unemployment rate.

Many hopes that the recent G20 Summit in Osaka, Japan, will cool things between the US and China but economists have no hope. Therefore, a senior US official still wants the country to remain blacklisted.

"We think [trade war] will be a big story next year, just like it was a big story last year," Bank of America Merrill Lynch economist Ethan Harris told Fortune. He added that the G20 summit was only a "storm eye."

While Sony and Nintendo have not responded to the report, Microsoft told the Nikkei that "there are no active plans to attract manufacturers" from China.

Huawei

Although President Trump at the weekend said that Huawei could buy U.S. technology. again, a statement was later clarified by a White House official.

Meanwhile, Huawei is still awaiting green light orders to move forward from the US Department of Commerce. Instead, a report from Reuters claimed that a senior US official told Department enforcement staff that Huawei China still had to be treated as a blacklist.

The information comes in the form of a letter that Reuters reported was seen. It was written by John Sonderman who was the Deputy Director of the Office of Export Enforcement, in the Department of Industry and Security of the Ministry of Commerce.

In connection with all license applications requested by Huawei, Sonderman instructs the team to give a sign that is in accordance with "this party is on the Register of Entities.

Evaluate the related licensing review policy under section 744. "He also called for a" presumption of rejection "policy on the application.

According to the report, this special letter is the only enforcement official the guidelines received after Trump's statement.

Huawei Company Ban

Just a month ago towards the end of May, the US Department of Commerce appointed Huawei, the Chinese technology titan to the list of entities. However, this resulted in the removal of all American companies from all types of trade relations with Chinese companies.

After a month of chaos, things can get back on track for Huawei as Trump, the US president has announced that Huawei China can once again buy equipment from US suppliers.

This event took place at the G20 Summit which is currently being held in Osaka, where Donald Trump and Xi Jinping, leaders of the two countries are sitting together to discuss trade tensions that have now declined a bit.

USA Trade Ban

According to reports, the American president, Donald Trump, for now, has allowed US-based companies to restore trade relations with Huawei. Therefore, Chinese companies can once again purchase products and services from American businesses until further notice.

According to a report from Bloomberg, Trump told reporters at a press conference after the G20 summit, "US companies can sell their equipment to Huawei." This marked a rapid change from Huawei's blacklist released by the US Commerce Department last month.

However, the reversal came with limits when Trump told reporters as far as sales authorization, "We are talking about equipment where there are no major national security issues with it." The statement, however, refers to the ongoing concerns of the US government. for China's telecommunications equipment and its potential potential to facilitate espionage.

At present, it is still unclear which products US companies can sell to Huawei and which will be blocked due to national security issues. Meanwhile, Trump told reporters that the existing import tariff would not be revoked, but he agreed to stop the trade war by avoiding new levies on additional Chinese goods.

Instead, Trump said that China would "buy agricultural products" from the US, but there were no additional details about the plan. Trump further stated, "If we make a deal, it will be a very historic event." When this "complex" agreement took place it was still unknown. Assuming there are no changes at all, Trump told reporters that the US Commerce Department will meet during the next week to issue Huawei from the blacklist.
