Samsung Galaxy Fold
The launch and relaunch of Galaxy Fold has been a wild journey. From manufacturing defects noted by reviewers to slips, delays and now a redesign, it has not been easy for Samsung to bring the Fold to market.

A new report from the Yonhap News Agency (via Android Central) suggests that Galaxy Fold will be relaunched in Korea within a week, on September 6 to be precise. If you still did not know, that is the opening day of the IFA 2019 fair in Berlin.

It is not clear at this stage if IFA will provide the platform for Samsung to show the updated Galaxy Fold or not, but it seems quite likely. They made us believe that the Galaxy Fold would launch in late September, but Samsung seems reckless to drag that rumored launch forward.

This could also be a power game to counter Huawei's own folding Mate X, which is also expected to be launched imminently. Although there are question marks about the folding made in China, as Huawei addresses Android's bans and its own quality control.

Yonhap reports that the Fold will be available in small batches, with an initial shipment of only 20,000 to 30,000 units available in South Korea. The price will be set at 2.3 million won, equivalent to approximately $ 1,900.

Samsung has previously said it will launch the Fold in other nations sometime later in September. That means that an exact date for the relaunch of the Galaxy Fold in the United States is still unknown. If we listen more at IFA, we will be the first to inform you. It is worth noting that operators will probably provide more details if this relaunch date ends up being correct.
