Huawei companies ban from US has affected them in a variety of ways, such as membership status with various interest groups also have come under fire.

The Report from the Wall Street Journal (paywall) states that the company's membership of the Forum and the Security Incident Response Team (First) has been suspended because of the ban.

The Forum which was established in 1990, is described as "unofficial first responder" for main hacks and cyber security incidents. Which main purpose is for the Members to share information about hacks and vulnerabilities in order to shore up cyber defenses. According to Outlet the US Department of Homeland Security and the UK National Center for Cyber-Security are two high-profile members.

What's The Stand Of Huawei As Of The Moment?:
As it stand now, Huawei will not have access to information from this group as a result of its membership suspended. In fact, the Wall Street Journal said it could slow down the ability of the manufacturer to issue a patch. Huawei also seems to miss out on the automated platform to share the latest details about the malware.

The legal team is reportedly forum advised to suspend Huawei, the team said some of the information shared on the forum could potentially fall foul of the US trade ban.

According to spokesman of the group, We learn that "after extensive consultation and review, we regret ended up in a position where we had to suspend the membership of Huawei."

This is not the first time Huawei membership status in interest groups have been affected as a result of the ban. Huawei also initially suspended from dealing with the Bluetooth SIG, the Wi-Fi Alliance, and the SD Association before being let back in after a while.
