Earlier this year, Xiaomi announced their upcoming folding phone, a device that has two folds on the left and right screens that can be folded.
In March this year, the company filed a design patent with EUIPO, including seven sketches. However, the patent was just issued on August 5, 2019.
LetsGoDigital, a Deutsche site that specializes in designing 3D images, has described this smartphone to make people visualize this device better. Here you can see a rather thick device with a thin bezel, containing 3 cameras vertically on the back.
Three cameras include a main camera, a secondary camera with an ultra wide-angle lens, and a camera with a telephoto lens with 2x zoom. Meanwhile, not being able to take pictures while the cellphone is folded is one of the biggest obstacles to this design.
There is no selfie camera, so it can be assumed that the selfie camera will be integrated under the screen when the bottom camera technology is fully developed.
This phone has a USB-C connection, but the 3.5mm headphone jack is removable. Fingerprint security can be integrated below the screen. When not in use, the hinges can be used to fold the phone like a folded case.
However, this device can support Xiaomi's 100 watt charging which was recently demonstrated, charging 4000 mAh in just 17 minutes. This smartphone can also include 5G support.
