The Game of Thrones prequel series can finally reveal more of the story of Raja Malam. The Night King is seen in a total of 10 episodes throughout the five seasons of the series. Apart from being one of the main antagonists of the event, many questions about the character were not answered - but the favorable state of prequel had the opportunity to fill the gap.
The pilot for the Game of Thrones prequel series was ordered by HBO in July last year. Jane Goldman and George R. Martin created the series, with Goldman and at the same time serving as runners. The title of the prequel series is rumored to be The Long Night but other reports show it was filming under the name Bloodmoon.
However, HBO has confirmed that this series has been ready thousands of years before the Game of Thrones event. It was intended to concentrate on a series of new characters during the Hero Age, a period of time that lasted four millennia and involved the previous approach of the White Walkers. Noting that the Night King has been in Westeros for thousands of years, it almost seems inevitable that he will appear.
Instead of making a quick cameo in the upcoming series, the pre-game series Game of Thrones must show what viewers have never seen about the history of White Walkers. In season 6 of Game of Thrones, Bran saw a vision of a First Male member being killed by Children of the Forest. The man was stabbed by a dragonglass and later turned into the first White Walker, the Night King. But while the reference series of important events involved the invasion of White Walkers from Westeros, there were many of their stories left to tell, especially when it came to the Night King.
Prequel the Game of Thrones series can fill the space between the creation of the White Walkers and the Night King's decision to return 2,000 years later. In A Song of Ice and Fire, The Long Night is a dangerous winter brought by Others when they first descend to Westeros. They killed anyone on their way and buried the ground at the foot of snow, starving thousands of people.
The Long Night lasted for several generations and caused the War for Dawn, resulting in White Walkers being forced to North Wall. But why did King Malam and his troops hide for thousands of years before trying to destroy the living in the first place?
There are also those who argue that the prequel of Game of Thrones will also concentrate on events that lead to the Andalusian Invasion. The program, which took place long after Long Night, saw the Andals leaving Essos to conquer Westeros. There may be some fundamental relationships with Andals and Night King which is why the human race from Essos never conquered the North. Could it be that they Raja Malam made an agreement with one of the Andals? The new character Naomi Watts who is said to keep dark secrets, maybe?
